Alien Pumpkin by Naitachal666 Alien Pumpkin by Naitachal666
I decided to try something a bit more complicated this year. So, I drew out an Alien design and put it on my pumpkin and carved it with with my linoleum Speedball carving set. Very pleased.

VERY cool!

You're a genius to use the lino-carving set on pumpkin flesh. I wish I'd thought about that way back when we were studying linoprints in college!

Lol, right? This is the first time I used the lino set on a pumpkin, too. It came out well. Actually, it was much easier than trying to use and x-acto knife to thin it out like I did last year.

Actually, the teeth, nails and arm highlights were worse >.> Those teeth are little bitty and tricky as hell.
